Born in Rochester, New York and raised mainly in Michigan, I never imagined that I would travel the world someday. Like many young people, I often dreamt of Broadway and becoming an actress; I even earned a degree in Theatre & Drama. Upon graduating from college, however, I found myself performing overseas in front of a class of international adolescents, teaching them English, drama, and social studies.
Though I had spent my childhood visiting museums and admiring other artists’ work, I never imagined that I would pick up a paint brush and create my own visions on canvas. A teacher, an actress, a director, an artist, a designer…an independent, yet social person—this is who I have become.
